Oscar Kabatende | Advocate

Mr. Oscar Kabatende obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the National University of Rwanda in 2006. Prior to joining Trust Law Chambers in 2007, Oscar worked as an Editor for Business Rwanda a magazine that specializes on reporting on business news in Rwanda.

Oscar's main areas of practice are Banking Law particularly the drafting and reviewing of Credit Agreements, the preparation, perfection and enforcement of securities; Capital Markets and Intellectual Property Law. He has also been involved in numerous Legal Due Diligence exercises on behalf of the firm's clients.

He is also a regular columnist for The New Times, Rwanda's sole English daily and has an excellent command of both English and French as well as a good understanding of Kinyarwanda.
