Minega Isibo graduated from the University of Reading in England where he received his Law Degree with an upper second in 2006. He obtained his masters degree in Law & Development from the University of Manchester in 2009.
Prior to joining Trust Law Chambers in 2007, Minega completed a six month internship at the United Nations International Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania. During that period, he served as a legal intern in the high-profile Military II case (Ndindiliyimana et al) and carried out extensive legal assignments to assist the Prosecuting team.
He was later seconded to the Rwanda Investment Climate Facility project where he helped oversee its transition to a fully fledged operational entity. He practices Corportae Law and Intellectual property
Minega has also written extensively in the local media and He currently writes a weekly column for The New Times newspaper on a wide variety of current and legal affairs.
He has excellent command of English and French and a working knowledge of Kinyarwanda.
